Where is the meeting being held?
The meeting will be held in Groton CT located in southeastern Connecticut near the Long Island Sound. The meeting will take place at the Hilton Garden Inn Mystic/Groton.

When is the meeting?
March 27-29, 2020 with the main scientific program taking place on Saturday, March 28th.

Do I have to be an EBBA member to attend?
No.  Everyone is welcome.

Can you help me find a roommate?
If you are interested in sharing a hotel room, contact Andrea Patterson and she will try to pair you with someone.

Is there a nearby campground?
The local campground is closed for the season until May 15.

Can my significant other, children, or traveling companions attend dinner?
Yes – friends and family who will not be attending the meeting but would like to come for dinner can register for one or both dinners; the registration form gives instructions.

Is there a children’s price for dinner?
We haven’t specifically negotiated children’s rates; if you are interested in bringing a young child under the age of 12, contact Andrea Patterson.

What provisions are made for vegetarians, vegans, gluten-free, lactose-free, etc.?
The caterer, Susan Plunkett, is able to satisfy guests with a wide variety of dietary needs and preferences.  Vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are offered at every meal; requests for other accommodations can be made when registering or thereafter by contacting Andrea Patterson.

Is childcare available?
Unfortunately we are not equipped to provide childcare services at this meeting.  If lack of childcare will prevent you from attending the meeting, please contact Andrea Patterson and we’ll try to locate suitable childcare options on a case-by-case basis.

Can I bring a pet?
Pets are welcome at many of the local hotels, but we cannot allow pets at the open houses or at the main meeting.

What if I have to cancel?
We will accept cancellations with a full refund until March 25; after that time, we are committed to our catering obligations and can only offer a refund of the registration fee. After April 1, we cannot offer refunds of any kind.
